Five Finger Death Punch “The Wrong Side Of Heaven Volume 1” Gold Record Award
Here we go again, another award just landed in the Alps! This time, I’ve got my hands on the Gold Record for Five Finger Death Punch’s “The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1”. Its their fourth album that dropped on July 30, 2013 and went Gold on March 3, 2015, and then hit Platinum by November 30, 2017. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, shifting 113,000 copies in its first week. It didn’t stop there, it also charted Top 10 in four other countries: #5 in Austria, #3 in Canada, #4 in Germany, and #7 in Finland. Back home in Switzerland, it hit #34.
On top of that, the album earned Gold certifications in Canada, the UK, and New Zealand, making it a true global success. Mostly, we only talk here about numbers and certifications, but I want to quickly mention the amazing guest musicians who were featured on this album. The album includes incredible guests like Tech N9ne, Maria Brink of In This Moment, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, and Max Cavalera of Soulfly!

The award itself is a true piece of art, the album’s iconic cover wraps around the entire back, with the gold vinyl sitting front and center. At the bottom, you'll find a sharp print of the album title on the plexiglass. The award has a black frame, adding that perfect touch. This one’s dedicated to Jeffrey Naumann. While his name might not ring bells for everyone, he’s been a key figure behind the scenes, shaping the music industry through his work in production, management, and consulting.
