Mudvayne “The End Of All Things To Come” Gold Record Award

July 6, 2023

Alongside the Chevelle award, this beautiful Gold record from Mudvayne has just arrived in the Alps. It commemorates their second studio album, “The End of All Things to Come”, and is now the second Mudvayne award in my collection. You can read more about how I got the first one here.

I’m still on the lookout for the award for their third album, “Lost and Found”. If you own it or know someone who does, feel free to reach out, I'm definitely interested.

Released on November 19, 2002, “The End of All Things to Come” debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and was officially certified Gold by the RIAA on June 30, 2003. Internationally, the album also charted in Canada #6, Australia #44, France #125, and the UK #107.

A legendary piece from a standout era, proud to have it in the collection!

Mudvayne “The End Of All Things To Come” Gold Record Award

Award details: As usual, the centerpiece is the vinyl, in the photo, it’s hard to see that there’s actually a CD placed on top of the vinyl. What’s particularly interesting is how the round vinyl has been set against the album’s original cover artwork in the background, it fits perfectly and creates a seamless visual.

The Mudvayne logo is printed directly onto the plexiglass above the vinyl, tying everything together with the original album aesthetic in a really cool way. Just like the Chevelle award, this one is also dedicated to Harvey Leeds.

Harvey Leeds has had an illustrious career in the music industry, retiring after more than three decades with Sony Music & Entertainment. Serving as Senior Vice President of Radio Promotion and Marketing and later as Senior VP of Artist Development, Leeds played an instrumental role in shaping the careers of legendary artists such as Boston, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, Culture Club, Pearl Jam, Incubus, and Rage Against the Machine, among others.
